We celebrated 74th anniversary of Indonesian National Armed Forces Day on 5th October. The ceremony was held at the Halim Perdanakusuma, an airport located in East Jakarta.
I had plenty of memorable experience of waiting at the airport along with plane delays and overcrowded airport lounges.
The word “photography” means “writing with light”. But for me, the real meaning is “painting with light”. Long before I found pleasure in photography, I had enjoyed doing painting, a simple way to translate my wild imagination to reality. (more…)

I was born and live in the largest archipelagic country in the world, Indonesia. A country with 250 million population live across 17.508 islands.

Hi! It’s been a while.. Why I skipped blogging for more than a week. I’ve been busy doing “mudik“, a homecoming tradition. It usually happens several days before religious holiday such as Eid al-Fitr.
The Golden Pheasant (Chinese Pheasant) is one of the most beautiful bird in the world. It is also highly intellegent. Chinese people believe the bird is a sign of good luck and prosperity.

In the upper right corner of the image, you can see a small red light flying in the sky. A drone. It’s not mine and I did not fly it.
I saw the view from the Bandung-Jakarta train when it is stopped at a station. My eyes were fixed on a stack of wrecked trains scattered in the station’s yard.
